Alcatel is a mobile company that wanted to announce its partnership with Corinthians, one of the most popular soccer teams in Brazil. Our goal was to cause a spontaneous reaction in the fans at the moment when they first hear the news.
With almost zero time for an elaborate idea, we chose to do something simple, but that could generate buzz for the club and Alcatel on social media. We took advantage of the fact that there would be a press conference that afternoon with midfielder Rodriguinho and we told the news to the Corinthians fans in a different way, that got everybody wondering what was going on.
